<![CDATA[Kingston City Council willing to OPT OUT!]]>Mon, 15 Oct 2018 19:13:48 GMThttp://saferkingston.org/news/kingston-city-council-willing-to-opt-outPicture
Kingston city council had a mayoral debate last Thursday night and cannabis sales in Kingston was not a popular topic with the panel! The two leading candidates said they would be willing to OPT OUT of cannabis sales in Kingston if they don't get more information from the provincial government soon.

That's where we come in!

We need to work with the province and encourage them to provide more guidance to communities not sure about opting in. We need to show Kingston City Council that we do want safe and legal cannabis sales in Kingston (instead of being forced to go online or to the black market). We need to protect our community and children from continued prohibition of cannabis within our city limits!
